Life expectancy

Life expectancy is the period of time that a person may expect to live. This number is based on a statistical average, with variables such as the place where you live, your occupation, nutrition and gender. The life expectancy of Japan is 83.1 years. Japan has the highest life expectancy for women in the world, and the fourth highest life expectancy for men. The life expectancy in Tokyo is 83.1 years, the exact same life expectancy as the whole of Japan. This may be because Tokyo makes up a large percentage of Japan’s population.
